The hidingEvery byte of your message becomes one Unicode variation selector — bytes 0–15 use U+FE00…FE0F, bytes 16–255 use U+E0100…E01EF. They have no width and no glyph, so the whole string renders as one lone emoji, and many apps copy, paste and send them untouched.
The lockAdd a passphrase and the message is encrypted before it is hidden: AES-256-GCM, with the key stretched from your passphrase by PBKDF2-SHA-256 over 250,000 rounds and a fresh random salt every time. Without the passphrase, what rides inside is noise.
The limitsHidden is not locked — an unsealed message can be read by anyone who knows the trick. Some apps strip invisible characters and the message dies with them, so test a channel before you trust it. A weak passphrase is a weak lock.
